The process of developing your yoga practice entails self learning. Checking in with yourself; emotionally, physically, and spiritually is a learning process involving patience, love and respect. Yoga is a continual process of reflection. As you evolve as a person and give yourself permission to experience your yoga, you will discover metaphors of growth in your life. In other words, if you are feeling tired and stiff in a particular area of your body, reflect on recent events in your life. Has there been added stress? Have you eaten poorly? Or even a change in the weather? Do not look to blame – just be aware of correlations. Continuing to learn about who you are on all levels will give you clarity and a greater sense of purpose in life.
