Yes, breathing is something we do involuntarily to stay alive but there are actually many different ways that a person can breathe. The problem is the way most of us breathe depletes our energy, causes anxiety and tension in the body and a whole host of other problems.

Breathing is at the core of any yoga practice. If you go to a yoga class, have Corporate Yoga at your office, or do Private Yoga Sessions, the yoga teacher will teach you how to breathe properly. In fact, it’s probably one of the first things you will learn in the class or session.
In yoga we teach people that breath is life. Our breath (or lack of) can deplete us or cause fatigue. Done properly, full body breathing can invigorate and energize us.
