A Year of Living Your Yoga is a great little book by Judith Hanson Lasater.  Judith has been teaching yoga since 1971 and also holds a Doctorate in East-West Psychology as well as certification as a Physical Therapist.  She is based out of the San Francisco area.

This book is a great collection of daily aphorisms and daily practice suggestions as well.  They are broken down so that there is one daily aphorism & associated practice each day – for 365 days!  I find the bite sized pieces of information very accessible and also quite practical.  Each one seems to be a gentle reminder to pay attention to the small things in life and in own’s choices.  Even though I have had the book for more than a year I still find myself going back from time to time to check in and follow along again and again with her daily doses of yoga philosophy and practical applications.  Judith has written many other yoga-related books as well and this is only one of her fantastic offerings.  Check it out!
