Exercise has been proven to boost mood, lift energy and so much more.<\/p>\n<p>(2) <strong>Drink Enough Water &#8211; <\/strong>And if you find water boring, try one of these combinations in your H2O: Watermelon\/Lime, Cucumber\/Mint, Strawberry\/Lemon.\u00a0 Even just a wedge of lemon or lime can mix things up.<\/p>\n<p>(3) <strong>Take Breaks Throughout the Day <\/strong>&#8211; Within reason of course. But standing up to stretch for 1-2 minutes or leaving your desk to walk to a co-worker&#8217;s office to ask them something (instead of emailing them) gets your blood circulating and oxygen moving.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t sit for too long.<\/p>\n<p>(4) <strong>Eat a Healthy Lunch &#8211; <\/strong>We are what we eat. Choose healthy proteins like chicken and egg, vegetables, fruits and nuts\/seeds over bread, deep fried foods, sugary treats and pop.\u00a0 It will give you sustainable energy for the rest of the day and you&#8217;ll avoid that mid-day slump.<\/p>\n<p>(5) <strong>Watch your Coffee Intake &#8211; <\/strong>Try to limit your coffee servings to 1-2 per day. Drink more water.<\/p>\n<p>(6) <strong>Acknowledge Others&#8217; Accomplishments &#8211; <\/strong>This is a big one. People love to be noticed when they&#8217;ve done something right.\u00a0 So tell your boss thanks for something, high five your co-worker on a job well done or say &#8220;I appreciate you&#8221; to your assistant for going above and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>(7) <strong>Get Enough Sleep at the end of the Day &#8211; <\/strong>Because unless it&#8217;s Friday or the weekend, you have to come back again tomorrow. And we all know how much harder it is to work when you&#8217;re exhausted.\u00a0 Aim for 7-8 hours a night and go to sleep no later than 11 pm.
